SBVC Employees Rise to the Challenge in Centennial Giving Success

Since its launch in August 2025, the Centennial Giving Challenge has showcased the extraordinary generosity and collective spirit of the San Bernardino Valley College community. Through the dedication of SBVC employees, more than $35,000 was raised to support student scholarships, marking a significant milestone during the college’s historic 100th anniversary year. This achievement reflects a deep and shared commitment to student success and to advancing SBVC’s mission.
The SBVC Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to the college’s Classified staff, Faculty, and Management teams, whose enthusiasm, collaboration, and leadership were instrumental in making the challenge such a success. Their collective efforts demonstrate the powerful impact that can be achieved when the SBVC community comes together around a common goal.
Special recognition is extended to SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union for their generous $10,000 matching grant, which played a vital role in helping the Foundation exceed its fundraising goals. Their continued partnership underscores the importance of community support in expanding educational opportunities for SBVC students.
