When Majesty Cade arrived at San Bernardino Valley College in January, the season was already halfway done, and she hadn’t played organized basketball since graduating from Etiwanda High School in 2023.

It didn’t take long for that to change.

Cade made her debut on Jan. 7 and quickly worked her way into the starting lineup, delivering an immediate impact for the Wolverines. Just a week later, she scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a win over Barstow.

In only nine games, Cade averaged 16.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists, earning honorable mention All–Inland Empire Athletic Conference honors.

Her brief but productive run at SBVC became a launching pad. Cade announced Sunday that she has committed to NCAA Division I Oral Roberts University.

“We are so proud of the work Majesty did here,” head coach Julia Smith said.

Cade’s rise underscores SBVC’s role as a proving ground for players looking to continue their careers at the next level. In a matter of weeks, she turned opportunity into a Division I offer, showing what’s possible in the right system.
