Families gathered on the San Bernardino Valley College campus on December 3 to enjoy the annual WinterFest celebration, featuring snowball throwing, sledding, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and rides on a trackless train.

This year’s theme, All Aboard the Polar Valley Express, brought an extra touch of magic as real snow transformed the campus into a winter wonderland for the community.

SBVC President Dr. Gilbert J. Contreras welcomed attendees and extended season’s greetings on behalf of college leadership, noting how special it was to see children and families enjoying time together on campus.

WinterFest also introduced two new features this year. Los Posadas, a small Mexican village experience, offered champurrado and a mini piñata craft, while Club Wolverine debuted in the student lounge, providing additional festive activities for guests.
